YES!+ course organizing Full swing at Chandigarh, Patiala, Jalandhar!

So there are three YES!+ lined up in three different cities for the month of August. Volunteer teams at each of the cities are organising the courses full swing! 

Chandigarh is from 6th Aug to 12th Aug. The team has touched about 100 registrations and they are targetting 300! With 5 new YES!+ teachers Tanu, Himani, Akash, Vinay and Smriti in chandigarh, the city is glowing like a sun. It has a festive mood ! This was a 100% hit ratio. 5 people from chandigarh went for the YES!+ TTC and all are back as teachers! And including me, amitesh and shruti we are now a team of 8 teachers in chandigarh!. The highest YES!+ teacher - youth population ratio anywhere in the world! Yet another record :-) I know:-) I know:-) we YES!+ers in the north have a penache for setting world records! :-).

The course in Patiala is at Thapar Engineering college. This course is from 21st August. Again the team there is targetting about 200 to 300 Thaparians to have a blast of a week! Jalandhar team is super solid and liquid one which organised the biggest ever Art of Living course in the world, Utsav-Act 1, in the month of April with 2500 people on it!. They will be organising a course at NIT, Jalandhar. The team has already met the director and the course in on 28th Aug.  Contact Dr. Jasminder at 9815510937, or Vicky and Saloni at 9872834134.

Its always a blessing to be able to get involved in organising a course. Not only a BIG blessing its sheer FUN and loads of learning. You come out as a leader in the society in the true sense. apart from all this its our world, our country and cities. You know it very well that getting someone to the course is the best thing you can do for that person in this life!

So what are you waiting for!..Get Set GO! 

C U in chandigarh on 3rd Aug. Will be boarding AP Express form Hyderabad tomorrow morning. Travelling sleeper class!:-) Its has fresh air and is cheaper!

I created the blog banner on my own!! First time!

I am quite happy with the way my blog looks now. It has a new banner I made on my own using GIMP, a freeware Mac OS based software. It took about 3 hours of playing around with the software before the simple banner was complete!

And I have also changed the code for top commentators. 'Anonymous' author of comments will not get counted ! . So you people better post with your name. I also figured out a way to change the color scheme for the blog in an easy manner. But I am quite satisfied with this color scheme overall. Also I have added an RSS feed from another blog which is completely about Guruji.  My schedule is also on the blog. Check it out!...

 
Did you check out the tabs below the banner. I added them today!. They take you to different categories of my articles or different websites based on what you click.

In a couple of days I shall be informing everyone about my blog. Till then I will spend more time setting it up.  I want a way to have more of my students and their stories too on the blog. Any suggestions are most welcome.

Its 2:15 in the night. Way past the time to goto sleep.Am very very hungry. Have been sitting on the blog making since 5 pm today. even missed my dinner. When I am on a computer I dont know where time flies. just my back hurts.!  There is nothing in the hotel room to eat. I drank some hot water a while ago. Will do the same again before hitting the bed.

Is your name in the top commentators list?

Well finally I have settled for this template. The coolest widget coding that I found and modified today was about Top commentators. So people do not post as anonymous. If you post with your name and you are the top commentator on the blog your names comes right up there!

And how do you like the site visits counter. I tried quite a few colors before choosing this one for the time being. its not very flashy unlike some other colors and so does not draw undue attention.

Do keep putting your comments. And ofcourse do you like the title. If you have better suggestions comment me.

Making the blog!

I am in the process of making this blog! . After a long time am able to take out free time to myself :-). Sitting here in a hotel ( its named hostel though) at Infosys Hyderabad, I have been making this site since yesyerday morning!... Do visit everyday!

About this blog

I had been wanting to figure out a way to be in touch with my students in the best possible way. Email is just plain text. smses are too short and painful to type. phone calls hurt my ears and pockets in a big way! My website and blogging I figured is the most creative and in thing to stay connected:-). And hence this blog. I will be sharing most of my life’s happenings, viewpoints and stuff around me on this site. So keep reading it.
